Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . Anita Briem, an Icelandic performer. Her most well-known role is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who is to become the third queen of Henry VIII on the television program The Tudors. Her acting career started in the National Theater Iceland when she was nine years old. Being a small child actress she appeared in a variety of plays in radio and television shows in her native Iceland. Briem was then 16 years old when she was a teenager when she moved to London and was a part of the production of Lenin In Love for the New End Theater. Briem 19 years old, she was admitted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there during three academic years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category.
