Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale was only 18 when she won a modeling competition at the age of 18 in Perth. After modelling for a few years, Gale became famous in 1999 after she was cast in a commercial campaign run by Omnitel later Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their commercials until. The company also hired her to the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia and Italy'. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale was featured on editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia, and Italian GQ. Gale has worked with Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere Genny as well as Gai Mattiolo as well as at the fashion shows of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale can also be a fan of numerous Australian designers including Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was also the fashion advisor for Australia's television awards in 2006 (the Logies). In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years. She also walked down the catwalk for her last time just weeks later at a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. Her final outfit she donned Wonder Woman's costume in the Justice League of America movie which was never made. In March of 2011, Gale returned to the runway, and she closed Alex Perry's 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th anniversary with department store David Jones, the longest -running fashion contract held in Australia. Gale was appointed ambassador for L'Oreal Paris the same month. Gale was a part of Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale was featured in commercials to promote L'Oreal in Australia and New Zealand. She also performed in Italy.
