Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on November 19, 1972, in London. She is the daughter of a Chinese father and a French mother. The family relocated from China to Toronto Canada when she was five years old, which was her residence ever since. Her first job was as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to pursue a career as an actress. Her film debut was as Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). In this role, she was nominated to win The Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise In Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas, Dance with the Murderer and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force were the next films. She also made guests appearances in Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force. For 22 episodes she was a major part in John Woo's The Thief. The film was released in 2004. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released, and can be seen only on DVDVHS as well as Resident Evil Apocalypse was released. After a series of smaller parts on 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and a few other films she received her first major role in which she was an actor in the lead role. Following guest appearances in shows and in smaller roles on movies Holt was cast in a lead character on Hostages in 2013 and she played a minor role in the Netflix show House of Cards. She starred as Julie Han in the US remake The Returned in 2015 and was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
